About
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW (she, her)
Loneliness is the worst. Isolation shows up in many forms, including shame, stress, mistrust, and unproductive conflict. People grow and heal in the context of secure relationships, and I aim to help clients create and sustain them. It’s my pleasure to work with couples, partnerships and individuals who are experiencing distress, coping with trauma, or struggling with identity development.
I’m certified in EFT and trained in AEDP for individuals to help heal attachment traumas. I have experience supporting new parents through the postpartum period, survivors of abuse and violence, and family members through estrangement. I strive to offer an affirming space for people of any gender to explore their vulnerabilities and find their strengths.
Most people don’t want to need therapy. It is an act of radical commitment to recognize when we have fallen into patterns that hold us back from emotional, intellectual and physical connection. If you think we might work well together, please shoot me a message. I hope to offer you the respectful, authentic support you deserve.
Therapy is second career for me, after 15 years in journalism and 4 advocating for survivors of trauma. I’m a spouse and a parent.
